The "Earth Summit", held in Rio de Janiero in 1992
had a broad agenda which has since failed to live up to its advance
billing. It was an environmental milestone of sorts, however,
and saw a number of Earthtrust representatives doing their best
to make it all work. Notable among these events was Earthtrust
Marine Division Director Jim Logan signing the "Earth Charter"
underwater in the polluted bay, in a somewhat peculiar event which
probably sums up the Earth Summit well.
