In 1991, hundreds of celebrities converged on Kauai
to celebrate the oceans. The central event was the announcement
to the world media that American Oceans Campaign would join Earthtrust's
push for a driftnetting ban. ET President Don White speaks to
the assembled media, flanked by AOC's Ted Danson and ET's "Honorary
Chairman" and spokesman Lloyd Bridges. Robert Urich, Kris
Kristofferson, and James Garner spoke as well.
